I live in a new build and am currently with EON they dont charge a fee for IGT (probably included in the tarrif) some other suppliers do.
Does the energy club include IGT?
It is not as straight forward to switch due to IGT charges.
Can anyone help?

The question has already been asked (and responded to) today in one of the existing threads here:

A small possibility of £10-£12 (plus vat) extra per year shouldn't be a deal breaker.
As the site does not ask if you are supplied by an IGT, do you think it takes it into account and if so how?0 -
Last time I spoke to EON Iwas told the charge for IGT is in the region of £40 PA0

In your OP you say Eon don't charge a fee for an IGT
Perhaps they meant this was they typical cost the supplier has to pay the IGT? But the supplier does not pass this cost onto the consumer any more in the way of a unique charge.0 -
I *think* it depends on your EON tariff as to what they charge/don't charge.0

Yes, I think that could indeed be the case.
The costs I indicate only relate (I think) to currently available tariffs ... which of course is what you would be on after you switch supplier.
(some of the old tariffs no longer available to new applicants may still continue to charge an additional fee ... but if you are on one of those, you would know what they are charging)0 -
Hi all
Just thought I'd clarify. We no longer pass on IGT charges on any of the new tariffs we launched at the back end of last year.
Customers on old tariffs may still see IGT charges depending on the product. These will also disappear, though, as the products in question come to an end.
Hope this makes our IGT policy a bit clearer.
