Code really like your game analogy, we are very early in ttc journey but it makes absolute sense to me.

Green week on my iPhone app from today so going to try and convince hubby to dtd every 2nd day until the weekend. May be worn out by Saturday!!

Well DH back from stag do, still no line on my OPK so who knows when i'm going to ovulate. Soon hopefully.

Code i thought your explanation was very well put. So it comes as no suprise that people have liked it so much.

Claire go for the ice cream, who knows how many more summer days there will be!

Skint, I'm in the same boat, I have no idea when I ovulate as each month is all over the place. I don't want to start BD every other day if i'm not going to ov fo ranother week or two.

Lannieduck Fingers crossed you ovulated when you think you did. Are you using OPK's or temping?

I think my month is going to be like yours.

I seem to either ovulate around cd20 & have a respectable length cycle or I have an insane !!!!!! is going on cycle ovulating around cd30 odd.

Nothing yet. We've only been trying for a couple of months, but if it doesn't happen this month I may start with some OPKs (I have a monitor from last time I was TTC - never used it last time because I got my BFP about 5 days after it arrived through the post :P).

I tried temping with DD1, but found it really difficult. I don't always get up at the same time each day, and kept forgetting to take my temp at the right time...

Same here, I don't think i'm gonna get on with temping but may try next month. xx

Hey ladies. Sorry to hear so many of you are feeling down. I think this TTC journey is just such a hard arduous slog and we are not in control of any of it, it's no wonder it gets us down.

AFM, I STILL have EWCM so no idea what is going on! We DTD yesterday and so should have covered our bases well enough but might do it again tomorrow as I read that you ovulate on the last day of EWCm. Does anyone know if that's true?

Also, my boobs are really really sore at the moment and I never usually get that at this point in my cycle so it's a bit weird.

Skint - normally as soon as you ov, your cm should dry up. There might be a bit leftover but the dry up happens almost immediately. Your boobs get sore because of rising progesterone.

This month I've had ewcm for over 2 weeks. Kajungas have been intermittently sore. One slightly dodgy opk 5 days ago. FF thinks I'm 4dpo. I think I haven't ov'd - I think I keep estrogen surging and failing to release the egg. I am very frustrated because it's like groundhog cycle. Every morning Bill Murray wakes to the sound of Sonny and Cher in my ovaries and it will continue until this egg actually releases. Can someone find my reset button please?
