Morning all, welcome to the newbies and here's hoping we get a spell of BFP's - definitely need some more and I really hope it's for our long timers this time - so much deserved.

Have now got my digi therm and have temp'd for 2 days now plus I'm using FF and tracking on there - took me a little while to understand it but think I'm there now.

Am off work today but have to take Dad to hospital for tests as he's just not recovering since his last op. Good job the meds Mum is now on are making a difference as I only have one wheelchair between the pair of them so they can't share (hmmm idea here to patent...double wheelchair in the style of a double buggy). Thanfully Mum should be able to walk the short distance from the car into the hospital and I can wheel Dad. We're going to pop to the pub afterwards for a nice lunch - let's hope the sun keeps shining.

    Happy Friday all
    Love Gelly

Hope your dads tests go well and that you have a lovely drink at pub in the sunshine :-)

Does anyone else get this internal monologue in your head that just says "oh, f off" (but the whole word) when someone else announces that they're pregnant. Even though you say nice things you're thinking it. Especially the smug annoying ones who go on about how it's their first month or it was an accident. I saw a comment on a mutual friends fb from someone I was at school with who has about 5 kids and is expecting another and her oldest has gone into voluntary care. That strikes me as very unfair.

I think mine was a little more... blue! I'm a horrible horrible person...! But yeah, a big part of me is pleased for them, the evil side wishes they would F right off.

    Yes. Except less polite.

There are a couple of people in real life who I am hoping get themselves knocked up very soon, including one of my best friends who has been trying for something like five years and has had a failed round of ICSI, and a work colleague who's been trying for three years (and was fobbed off by doctors despite knowing something was wrong, and unfortunately she was right) and is about to start IVF. I hope they both get their BFPs very soon. But everyone else can bugg@r off and wait their turn because I AM NEXT and that is not negotiable.

In fact I now hate all pregnant women.

Beginning to think maybe this isn't happening for a reason. So angry and fed up with DH. Tried to talk to him this morning (not anything serious just normal stuff) and all I got from him was "uh-huh", no matter what I said cause he was reading a stupid football forum. Then he accused me of being grumpy when I got annoyed. Grrr. Then he complained that I pay the dog more attention. Of course I do, he's a dog, he follows me and he doesn't disappear upstairs for hours to play football manager while I do everything that needs to .be done and then complain that I'm neglecting him.

Becca, sorry to hear about this. I have a tilty cervix too so probably the same will happen to me.

Been temping for a few days now and I'm not very good. This morning I was trying to temp with a switched off thermometer. Also, it measures in farenheit and I only know celsius. Not good news though. So far my highest temp is still really, really low which explains a lot.

    You'll get there :)

I found it confusing as I always think of body temp in F and my thermometer is C! But really it makes no difference you just watch the shift in temps.

Got a horrible stomach ache this morning. For years I'm sure I've had ibs but recently started to think perhaps I've also got some kind of food intolerance. Not sure I can face another drs appt though feel like I've been in that place so often the past 6 months!

CD1 for me please Becca :(
Though I suppose at least its the end of the waiting game and what was a long cycle for me. Off out shopping, then I am planning to order some OPKs online. When should I start using them???
On the bright side - weather is gorgeous and I can enjoy it with a glass of wine in my hand this weekend.

    Fed up
First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/14 :D
  • Morning all.

Hugs all round and those funny kisses on the cheek where you are not sure whether it should be both cheeks or just one! :p

becca0417 Sorry to hear it, heres hoping you soon get the news you want.

loulou123 I've decided AF is just having a laugh with me as well but it hasnt been as long for me, 33 days so far which has been the longest irregular period so far. Tests done, but no positives.

Well, I've just still been trying to deal with this hypothyroidism thing rather than thinking about the fertility thing. I've been 4 days on the Thyroxine now and hoping it works pretty swiftly. If it does then hopefully it increases baby chances :)
Learning about it has been a shock though, theres so many issues other than the fertility thing, I can see why the doctor said it just described me. I believe I've had it for quite a while now but its been getting worse and worse over past 6 months, hence cramps in places other than my back, worse anxiety, worse short-term memory, so many bruises I look like I've been in a boxing match!

So now I've given up the smoking, will hopefully finally lose weight and the thyroxine will balance everything out meaning more chance!

    Love and Wotsits
