Well today I have thrown all my toys out of the pram, said "sod it" to TTC, and bought a three door car totally impractical for children's car seats. If anything will get me knocked up, this has to be it :rotfl:

Lol angeltreats - I am looking for a new car at the moment too, my current one is a 3 door and keep looking for a 5 door. Dont think my Dad knows why I am so keen for a 5 door as he is the one with the mission to find something suitable (don't trust OH to find something I consider suitable). What car did you go for?

Claire I used to get loads of highs, sometimes a full cycle. Hope they sorted it for the new monitor!!

My cbfm sounds the same as Becca's. one bar low, 2 bar high 3 bar peak.
3 cycles so far not one peak :-(

Hubbie went doc this week to request sperm test, apparently nurse will write with appointment in a week or so.

If a bfn for me this month I will go docs as she told me not to leave it too long with my age.

Hubbie taking kids home to their mum - been a lovely weekend but glad to have half hour now to myself lol

I think I may be in for oodles of highs from mine too it started giving me them from cd12 when the earliest I've ever ov is cd18. I seem to alternate between long (ov cd18-21) and really long (ov cd24-29) cycles and if this holds true I don't anticipate ov for another 10 days or so. It did give me a peak last cycle so that's good but I just really wanted the "up to 4 days warning" of ov as advertised as I'm so irregular.

Hope that makes sense. I just hope it starts to get used to me soon and becomes a bit more accurate.

Dh and I had a bd just for fun this morning which was really nice ( I totally don't trust that the cbfm high reading means anything ). And he was very complimentary about my weight loss which felt really good.

I know I haven't been here that long in the grand scheme of things but I'm starting to worry that we've had our chance and lost it. It's just cos what would have been my due dates approaching I know. It's only 5 weeks away now and I keep seeing pg women everywhere I turn and thinking that should be me. Just needed a little rant.

Hi ladies, congrats on the two new BFPS!

I am 8dpo today, so the next 4 days are going to be long as my LP is 12 days!

I have an interview for a job I really want on Wednesday too so sort of hoping this is not our cycle and I get the job but I might not get either!

If I get it TTC will have to take a break for a couple months though...

Brought Superdrug tests today and internet cheap sticks on way, don't wanna test until Weds earliest though, but once I have sticks in the house I can't resist!

Been feeling light headed and knackered today, cramps last night, trying not to make anything of it but still!

To the CBFM ladies I have a second hand one off eBay, this is cycle 2 on it, got peaks both cycles, wish mine tested for pregnancy too though!

AFM - CD17 and day six of the flashing smiley face on the digital CB OVK and have run out, do you lot think I should just use the cheaper OVK that I got on Friday, why no peak yet? Anyone else been in this situ.

Going to be temping as from tomorrow. Any tips e.g. best time etc.

Decided to get crafty and fill my time so going to make some cushions this week. Does anyone have any good links for a 16 x 16 cushion with no zip e.g. envelope pattern please?

Made some chocolate beetroot muffins at the weekend, sound strange but very yummy! Just had a cream tea too which was v.nice.

Angeltreats - really not sure what to spend the Clearblue vouchers on! It always seems to be that when I have money to treat myself then there's nothing I want yet when I'm broke there's loads of things! May buy a new outfit for my sister in law's wedding. Perfume sounds like a good idea too, have half of my favourite one left. New car sounds lovely too, really hope it tempts fate and you need to trade it in for a 5 door very soon!

Loulou123 - Congratulations on the college acceptance, sounds exciting! Hope you have a great time at Alton Towers tomorrow, haven't been there for years.

ttc39 - hope hubby hears about his test soon.

Lilmissmup - fingers crossed for testing on Wednesday and for the job interview too.

blondy24 - chocolate beetroot muffins?! Tell me more! Not sure about the beetroot though...

Could I be updated to CD3 on Monday's list please? AF showed up properly yesterday. Must have ov'd on the second peak day on the CBFM. Have to say that the monitor worked pretty well for me, with the first high on CD8 and first and second peaks on CD11 and 12. Always worry about only having one ovary (and the fact it has a nice big cyst in it!), so just hoping it keeps doing its job like it has been doing. I do give it a pat after ov each month and tell it it's a good ovary . Going to start BDing at the first sign of EWCM this cycle and try at least every other day. Here's hoping!

They are lovely and don't taste like they have beetroot in them, OH's children didn't even realise! Freeze well to and very moist unlike some other chocolate muffins I have made probably beetroot and oil helps.

Love the idea its just to make the time ttc more interesting thanks firefly.

Talking of cars my hubby sold his beloved car, as it was lowered and sports car, a few months after we began ttc (couple of years ago now) and brought an estate "family" car, bet he wishes he'd kept the original one now!
