Trying for a Baby Part 9

Loving the crafts - you clever ladies! I'm rubbish at all things creative although my mum and my sister are awesome at making things and I always feel really rubbish when they make a beautiful gift for someone and I end up just buying something generic as I'm so uncreative. I failed my GCSE Textiles as I made an absolutely horrendous handbag. Ha - it was embarrassingly bad. I'd tried to cross stitch an ancient Egyptian theme onto it too. Haha.
Major knicker twitching alert from me at the moment. Currently on my longest cycle since starting TTC in October 2012. CD31 and previous longest was 29 (average is 27). Got no signs that AF is on her way either even tho I did have the familiar cramps on Friday. So confused!
I *think* that I didn't ovulate this month (no usual ov pains, no positive opk and super duper stressed at work this month) but late AF is still making me hold out some hope even tho we didn't BD much this month either! Did a test this morning (Internet cheapie) and unsurprisingly it was a BFN.
So if I didn't ovulate, will this make me miss a period or be super late?! For once, I just want the witch to come so that I can get started on a new month, use my new CBFM and conceive plus and actually BD lots! Really frustrated right now!
I should temp really but think the hubby would not be appreciative of beeping thermometers in the morning!
Hope everyone else is well X0 -
Bex you might have ovulated late. Which would then mean af is later than normal. When did you stop using opks?First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

Ooh Becca that would make sense actually as I did stop using OPKs on CD18 cos I just didn't have the usual OV symptoms. I could have ovulated after this and just not realised. I really should start temping.
I don't usually get stressed at all but work was so bad that I felt physically sick for the first few weeks of my cycle so I am sure that OV would have been affected and a late ovulation would make sense.
Thanks for the pointerjust wish the witch would hurry up now!!

Hi everyone! Been awol again sorry, had a hectic week. Will try and keep up a bit better. What the heck has happened to the weather?! Only just warmed up now after a nice bath - it's May!!
Mrs T M - Had my first high on the CBFM on cd8 followed by the two peaks on cd11 and 12 (think I ov'd cd13), so it's definitely possible if you normally ovulate around cd13 or so.
Codemonkey - the giant jaffa cake looked amazing! Going to give it a go this weekend. Sounds like Scamp is settling in nicely. Feeling your pain with the ewcm as also getting my second lot this month. I did have a little giggle at the orange hair incident - sorry!
Picklepin - ouch to the hsg, hope you're ok now. Fingers crossed the clomid does the trick.
PommeVerte - hugs for cd1 but yay for feeling closer to your OH. We've found the same as we're actually having to make the effort to BD (that sounds bad! The novelty had worn off a bit after 12 years together though). It's a nice side effect, though a baby to show for it would be even nicer!
claire16c - hugs too for cd1. Hope your test results come back ok tomorrow.
catloverbex - so annoying when you have a random longer cycle to get your hopes up!
Samtoby - so sorry about your grandad, be kind to yourself xxx
CD22 for me. Think I'll try testing on Friday using the monitor/tests provided with it (be 13dpo then). I have been having the usual pre-af pains and grumpiness though... Been having quite a bit of pain around my ovary all of this cycle as well, which isn't usual for me. Have a routine follow up with my consultant in July so will be asking about it then. Going to be sorry to send the CBFM back as well, found it so easy to use. Good luck to everyone starting the Clearblue trial, fingers crossed we get some nice bfps! (But eww - hate the word intercourse!!).Hold my hand harder
Ease my mind
Roll down the smoke screen
And open the sky

Bex I regularly used to ov on cd22+ so if it happens again then I'd suggest keep testing until you get a positive xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140

Good morning all!!
Sorry I've been awol last few days, I have been lurking and watching you all, just sitting out the 2WW which as you know is boring as ever.
Anyway, quick update from me, I think im 13dpo today so I did an IC yesterday morning... forgot about it and when I returned from work, there was a faint positive... evap line?? Thats what I guessed as the test was 8 hours old.
So I took another when I got in, and lo and behold, faint line again - barely there... So I waited for DH to get home so he could have a look, yep faint line. So I had an expired CB digi from 2 years ago still lying around, god the longest 3 mins of my life... 1-2 week Pregnant!! :j
OMG I'm flabbergasted and so is DH. Very lucky to get pregnant so quickly its too good to be true. So I sent DH out to get a in-date CB digi which I will wait til next week to test.
So I suppose its a tentative BFP for me :j
Bex - i was on cd32 yesterday - 12dpo and only got a faint positive so I'm thinking positive things for you xx

Congrats Goppers, really happy for you!
I've been MIA for the past few days as I was having a huge exam meltdown... the exam was yesterday and thank goodness I passed so hopefully things will settle down now and I can catch up on everyone's news.
I'm doing the clearblue study and today I had a High, which surprised me as normally I don't ovulate until CD17 or so. Does this mean anything really, should I get excited? I know it's not a Peak but still.0
