Please can I be updated to 1DPO got a positive opk bang on time! Was very teary yesterday watching obem, my husband thinks I am sightly crazy for torturing myself watching these programmes but I can't help it :-)

Last nights episode was particularly harrowing I don't think many people would have watched that & not cried!

Even on the happy episodes, it always makes me cry when I see the Dads cry for some reason!

Hello everyone, haven't really kept up for few days so sorry if I've missed any BFPS.

I've been feeling very sorry for myself for last few days, basically evaluating how "wrong" my life seems to have turned out and wondering how to start to put it right. But then one of colleagues got some very bad news (they've found out they have a brain tumour, and are only in their early 20s) and that has very much put my whinging into perspective....

My hubby has decided (finally) he needs a SA done and we are currently looking into a private clinic for this (hes adamant he wants private and I don't care about the cost, as long as he actually gets it done) and I've made an appointment at gps to see if I can have further tests as I fear my PCOS is worsening.

Im starting to think I havent ovulated this cycle and am having one of those anovulatory ones as my temps are not right at all, I keep reading its normal to get one every year, and I came off the pill in June 2011 and have never had one so Im hoping its nothing abnormal and just a blip.

However, what I want to know now, is if you have one of these then when is AF going to start? As there is no ov to trigger it.

I hate not knowing when AF is going to come!

Ive read varying reports online - some women sort of skip a period, and just go on to ovulate in another couple of weeks, and others report spotting or bleeding either at normal AF time or delayed.

Just wondering if anyone on here has experienced it?

ttc39 - only my second cycle with cbfm but last cycle I had 7 high days before I got peak. Not sure if that helps. Highs have started on same cd this time will have to see how it goes. Have been taking 50mg of vitamin b6 every day to try and lengthen lp as otherwise on a 27 day cycle it is far too short. Worked last time seemed to delay af until cd31.

The couple were expecting a baby that had a disorder with its diaphragm that meant its lungs weren't developed properly and the disease has a 50% survival rate. They found out at the 20 week scan. The baby died after 6 days :( I read online and on Facebook they wanted the episode to air to bring awareness of the condition, and set up a petition to get funding etc.

Me too. It just doesn't feel like my normal cycle at all & nothing is matching up properly like it normally does. But just wondering when AF will arrive then.

Have a great holiday Becca. I've added vit B to my shopping list, thank you. I thought that there was more I could do to lengthen my LP. Anyone else? :)

Hi Twigpig. My friend took soy isoflavones to lengthen hers. Some people take vitex/ agnus castus to lengthen LP. Here's a link to a study done on it.

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8369008

Code- I think you mentioned the other week that you had raised prolactin levels- apparently agnus castus can reduce it- according to the above link...

Duo are apparently sending me out a new sensor- bank holiday weekend means I won't get it until next week. They have now told me they don't have my temp reading for the last 4 days so the second person who emailed me was fibbing. Still no AF. No pre AF pinching feelings. Fed up- 16/18 dpo... AF wherefore art thou?

Glad I didn't watch OBEM last night- I don't think I could've handled it. Those parents must be so brave to have a child that they know might not survive- I don't think I could be that strong.
