Trying for a Baby Part 9

Hi everyone, thought I'd give a quick update now I'm back from my weekend away....
"bleeding" has stopped now, it never turned red (stayed very dark brown) and was very very light (even on the heaviest day, I didnt really need a tampax.) My periods are usually pretty heavy for a couple of days and i get bad cramps, thid time I had no cramps just a weird feeling in my tummy.
I have no idea if it was AF or what it was so don't know what CD to count myself at......
I tried to get an appointment at GP but that was a no go for today!0 -
Loulou stupid question but have you tested?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Your charts look good for the two I can see on ff, but I'm sure you said before you had wacky cycles too, have they been unusually good ones? Just wondering if you even need the clomid if you're doing it yourself now? Although if you're like me you can have a perfectly normal cycle & then it goes weird again so I can see why it could be good.
My cycles are completely unpredictable. CD17 is the earliest I can ovulate but it can be as late as cd32 or not at all. I think the last two cycles are looking good because 1. I finally managed to lose some weight 2. AC seems to help me ovulate earlier...... but just when I think I can predict it my body goes and does something wacky like this month my temps plummeting below the coverline at 10dpo and staying there when my LP is normally 14 days. Now I am thinking that I should have continued to take AC all through the cycle like last month instead of stopping at ovulation.
Now I have to decide if I should continue with the AC next cycle as it really does seem to help if I take it for the whole cycle or stop the AC and take the clomid as perscribed by the FS. I suppose I could continue to take the AC for another cycle and keep the clomid on standby. If I get an early ovulation (for me) for the next cycle then I might not need the clomid but if my next cyle is a long one then I think I am going to use the clomid.0 -
Hey ladies.. haven't been reading the forum much. I am still waiting for AF.. Got many BFNs, including a negative blood test. Currently on CD43!!.
Really wondering what has happened. AF is normally around 35 days. any ideas? I heard there are emmenagogue food/drinks that can help bring on periods.. does it work? Just want to get a clear picture and start trying in the next cycle..

Giarora - perhaps you're having an anovulatory cycle? If you've ovulated then apparently parsley and finger tea helps but I've never found it effective.
What is finger tea? Ginger! Ginger tea!Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Vic & LouLou - Come on ladies there is no one on the testing list and we haven't had any test !!!!!! for ages...
Code - Hope you are a bit more comfortable, cystitus is horrible hope you feel better soon. I was temped to Google finger tea to see what kind of results there were:rotfl:
Giorora - If you are not tracking Ov then it is hard to know what is going on, you could be ov!ng later than you thought or you may be having an ovulatory cycle.
Becca - do you know roughly where your coverline sits, you probably need a few more temps to get a clear pattern.
ema_o - hugs for AF, good luck with the weight loss, lots of the ladies on here are in the same boat and speaking for myself I have seen an improvement in my cycles as the weight comes off.0 -
Wow, lots of crazy threads about today; stupid people wanting to know if having unprotected sex can end in pregnancy, people asking if they're pregnant (errr how about waiting 'till AF is due then taking a test rather than asking random internet strangers?!) and wannabe grannies worrying about never getting grandchildren!
Code I was really confused about finger tea! Glad it was an autocorrect as that sounded gross! :rotfl:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Thanks code and firefly.. I have been using IC OPKs to track ovulation.. but that was only until day 25.. b'coz by that time I normally have ovulated. Since CD25, I have been waiting for AF/BFP, so not tracking.. I did see surge on OPK a number of times in this cycle.. But obviously there was no way of knowing if I actually ovulated. I went for a progesterone test but the nurse messed the forms up and ended up doing some other test.
I'm hating to wait for next cycle..but I'll try the parsley and ginger tea.

Yep twice once about a week ago and once on Thursday just gone both Definately BFN I'm afraidhave run out of tests now but might get one more just to make absolutely certain.
I suspect tho that its a symptom that my pcos has got worse - as it was a while ago I had hormones tested and scans done.0
