    Hi all,
I've really appreciated reading everyone's updates tonight - I was feeling really low with my cycles all messed up again, the CBFM not being the absolute solution I had made it out to be, and generally feeling hormonal.
It's good to hear people staying positive despite their own trials and tribulations and trying to reframe this long and hard journey. I'm going to try and follow your example

Gelly good luck with your appointment. I'm trying to suck up the strength to have almost the identical conversation with my GP (who seems intent on sending me to a private clinic)
TeamLowe sorry to hear your appointment was so rubbish. Sounds like you've come back fighting though :T
Abis good luck with the new attitude.
Mrs TM fingers crossed for your next text.
McRach, Loulou, Goodvibes and Vic3 hope it all goes well for you this month, you're not until AF arrives!!!

Here's to a 2013 BBBBFP for us all

Ended up telling DH and showing him the tests. He's r/g colourblind, so he cannot see the colour. Anyway, I should have waited. He didn't really react at all and is still more interested in checking twitter than eating or talking to me. *sigh* Men huh? I will be testing again in the morning, and probably every morning until I get a good strong positive or until AF shows. If anything shows up on them I'll definitely post photos.

Granted, I really hope I am, even if for no other reason than to explain why I've been taking a nap or two every day!

  • Hi all, massive hugs and whoops :j for lilymay's bfp ... what a fabulous birthday present. Lily, if you're still lurking, here's a huge hug and a heap of good luck

Team Lowe sorry your appt wasn't quite as expected, hopefully you will feel better now you and Mr Lowe have drawn up a bit of a plan

Skinty hope you aren't having too many sleepless nights deciding on whether to keep trying for a winter baby , not an easy decision I'm sure :o

    Mrs TM keep us posted!!!

As for me, nothing really to report, CD10 now. Had a lovely weekend away with friends and DD really enjoyed all the attention. Some nice springlike weather here which has helped me feel quite positive. Doing the Clearblue trial so hoping the law of sod will mean I get pregnant this month before doing the trial and lose out on the £50 :rotfl:

TL not to discourage you now you've made a decision but it seems odd they're saying no to clomid based on results from old tests on cycles you don't have anymore? What was their like solution for you to ovulate in that case then?? Or is it just to refer you on? I'm so sorry.

Mrs TM I don't think you're supposed to use a result from that long after the test but as you've done two, who knows! Could be promising.

The old test was when the increased metformin dose was working.

It was something like if I ovulate well when I do then the Clomid will work in tandem with that and make me ovulate too much so the ohss and they don't do follicle tracking there so would be dangerous

Mrs tm looks promising! Fingers crossed for you

Abis I know what you mean, was thinking before I don't even mind not tracking my cycles cos if I did get pregnant makes no difference if I test at 4 weeks or 9 so meh to it all

Just spoke to mum about it who reckons things go in seven year cycles so we should wait til I'm 33 x

Ooh that reminds me. I had the papers for the trial today. Looks fairly straightforward.

Any ideas on my double smiley anyone?

Vic I think the surge can last for 24 hours so maybe you caught the start and end?

7 year cycles TL?! Christ, 7 months is too much for me! ;)

Trying not to get excited for you Mrs TM! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
