Want Pushchair with Toddler step

Hi,
I've got a cheap Mothercare buggy and have tried to use a buggy board with not much success. I have been looking on the net for a lightweight small pushchair with a step for the toddler built in. I see that the Pilko has one. Has anyone any experience of this one or know of any others? I would be grateful for any ideas. ta

Hi , I have got the Peg Perego Pliko P3 (mamas & papas european brand name) and mine has the toddler step on it . I can push mine with my 7 year old on it , bit heavy but I can still push it . How old is the child that would be using the step ?Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !

She is 3 1/2 weighing about 17kg, and I have a 15 month old who weighs just 9kg.
Is the pilko good? I might look for one on ebay.. Mamas and papas can be pricey.I am a Mum and I run my own PC repair business0 -
The older plikos dont have a "step" as such and its not really supposed to be used as one TBH ,they were never advertised ( AFAIK) as being for a child to ride on
It's / was a lever plate for manouevring (sp?) up kerbs
I would not have used is as a regular step for an additional child i dont think, would go for the seat to go / buggy board if it was needed regularly
The new pliko *does* have an inbuilt toddler step so it says here though it looks pretty much the same http://www.mamasandpapas.co.uk/product_details.php?id=S0002981&type=S Its £230
There are some on ebay like this one for cheaper : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Peg-Perego-PLIKO-P3-Classico-MOD-VERDE-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ320107372584QQihZ011QQcategoryZ66700QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
if you already have the buggy board, wouldnt you be better off buying a pushchair that it does fit ?
