Great customer service.
Btw, its my first time ever that i have insured with Hastings.
Hope it goes well.
In our case with a current NO FAULT accident (3rd party completely admitted liability), Hastings have delivered absolutely NO customer service whatsoever - let alone 'good' customer service.
My advice regarding Hastings Direct........DON'T. Lovely looking policy brochure, makes all sorts of promises which perhaps they keep when their customer is to blame, but we are completely blameless and their response was to dump us straight on to Albany, a claims management company who have a rubbish reputation - & they just wanted more money for an additional policy in case the 3rd party insurer wouldn't pay for a hire car, something we were already covered for with the legal protection add-on we'd purchased through Hastings.
Have temporarily transferred our Hastings policy to our new car as it was cheaper than cancelling and expires in March (took out GAP insurance seperately as well). After that Hastings Direct can do one, forever!!! Hastings and the word 'bargepole' spring to mind
Our next insurer will come from the best of this list http://www.which.co.uk/money/insurance/reviews-ns/car-insurance/whichrecommended-providers/
Lesson learnt for us both Siobhan27, really hope you get some satisfaction from Hastings but don't hold your breath.
GiveMeMyCashBack - better hope no-one rams the back of your car, you'll find out how completely absent Hastings customer care is.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0
