captcha codes- targeting younger entries (with better eyesight?)

i thought i had pretty good vision, but some captcha's are just so awkward to read... i have to expand the window, or refresh for an ' easier' one.. Are promoters delibarately doing this, to deter non demographic target entries..?:question:

I don't know about captcha's but I've had to ask where the submit button is before because I've not been able to see it - the same goes for some answer boxes too
