Sky Fibre Optic, Modem ?

Me again. :rotfl:

Sky blokes left, Tv services are up and running.

The BB isn't however, ( good job I still have virgin :D ) - Was I meant to receive a modem for my broadband today ?

I have the hub, and the tv box. - Hubs connected directly from the phone line - I have no smiley face on the hub though.

And do I need to connect the tv box to the hub also ? - Sorry I'm a bit of a noob at this. :rotfl:

The Sky TV installer has nothing to do with phone and broadband-that's done by BT OR. Invariably you will find that the TV is up and running some weeks before the telcom services.
If you have ordered a new line provision, then 3-4 weeks lead time is quite normal, and probably more at this time of year. Sky should have given you a date for each service.
The digibox should be connected to the phone socket, not to the router.

Indeed, the router/hub will connect to the BT OR Fibre modem when they get round to provisioning your line.

BT OR will install the fibre, usually some time after sky tv is installed.

Strictly speaking they will connect your copper pair to the FTTC ( the cabinet on the right) down the road. There is no fibre to the home.
