Work programme !!!! up!

I attended the work programme induction on the 23rd jan, signed all the papers ticked the boxes etc and listened to the advisor, I was told because I am appealing the WRAG I would not have to go to the center any more but would get phone interviews.

2 weeks later I got a letter telling me to go for the induction on the 30th jan, I phoned and told them I had already been and was told to ignore the letter as it was a mistake.

2 weeks later I got a letter telling me to go for the induction on the 6th Feb, again I phoned to say I had already been but this time I was told I had not attended but phoned to cancel and then ignored other appointments and now they are sending a report to the DWP to suspend my ESA!

I told her to check and she will see I signed all the paper work in front of her on the 23rd and even told her how many people were in the room with me, but she insisted I hadn't been and it was unacceptable.

I now have to attend another induction, listening to the same thing I heard before or lose my benefit. I don't know what to do but go and it's not fair.

I hope no one else has the same problem and if any one has what did they do?

Sounds to me as if someone has made notes on your computer record and they are being misread. eg. When you phoned about the induction on the 30 Jan explaining that you'd already attended one someone typed in 'client phoned, induction cancelled' not explaining the full picture.

You could try ringing and asking to speak to a manager/supervisor/whatever they are called. You need to ask them to find your paperwork which you have signed.

My mistake it should have been a week later not 2

The work programme is just a scam.No provider has the ability to get people into work.No WP provider has any access to work what so ever.The WP programme will either sell you courses you do not need or hawk you out to a company for free labour.When eventually you find work yourself the WP provider claims the credit and the money.Its money for old rope....

My advice is do not sign the consent forms.These people do not deserve to be paid.That money can be spent better elsewhere.

ITS A SCAM...
