I have received a letter to say that I will be paid ESA until April. My last sickness certificate will run out middle of February. Do I still need to send in sickness certificates until then?

You do not need to send sickness certificates if you're in either the support group, or the work-related group.
You do, if you've been found fit for work, and are appealing.0 -
I think I am in assessment stage as this is the first time I have claimed ESA My first fit note was for 2 weeks and the second was for 4 weeks. I am only 2 weeks into the second fit note and I received a letter saying thatt I would get paid until April so I need to know if I have to keep sending in fit notes from my GP:)Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0

If you have only been claiming ESA for a few weeks then yes you need to keep sending in fit notes. They will be needed until you have been assesed and are assigned into a group. This should be after about 13 weeks when you will have to complete an ESA 50 form and may have to attend a face-to-face 'medical'.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -
