Hi all
We are looking for a bit of collective moneysaving experience to find out what are the best balance transfer deals you have been given by any of the companies in the RBS group (RBS themselves, Natwest and Mint) whilst being one of their customers.
For example, if you rang up for a new rate, what did they give you or did they extend a 0% offer.
See the Credit Card Shuffle article for examples of what we are after.
Many thanks

they do not extend 0% offers and other bt offers vary depending on the account so the best thing for people to do is phone and ask what the best deal is on their account at the moment. if you ask you will always get the lowest rate (unless you threaten to close in which case you will get put through to another dept. who have other offers available to them.0

I have had 1.9% for 6 months with no fee twice now. Both times balance was £0. This was by phone, asking what offer they could give me. No threat to close account.
Its a RBS graduate card and I have a current account with RBS (reason they gave for not needing to pay a balance transfer fee).
