Hi, I've just renewed our tax credits for April 2011 - April 2012, the year before was £12171,we were asked when renewed for 11-12 what to base it so we said £12500, but our figure came in at £13769, we also had a baby in aug 2012, does anyone know how much this could affect us & if we owe them money will we have to repay it before April 2013?

Without a very big calculator or a spreadsheet, it would be difficult to work it out and even then it would be wrong.
Did you tell Tax Credits about the baby straight away?0
