I knew it was bio! If you use a DW tablet wear rubber gloves.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

  • Now on the dishwasher tablet.

It boiled over and tripped the electrics, much to the kids upset as their important tv program has been interrupted.

Eyes sore from all the detergent cooking!

Normally cook on the Aga, but DH refuses to use it when he cooks!
  • You can use any washing up liquid and boil it on the hob - my mum's friend used to do this for all her pans in the 70s before we'd even heard of bio let alone non-bio. I've got one on the go tonight with soda crystals.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.
  • I always use bio washing powder bring to the boil and leave overnight for best results, if it is very bad you might have to repeat the process, but it usually works first time
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

  • Maybe too late but I use water with a dash of washing up liquid and a dash of bleach, boil on hob and it makes it really easy to clean.

I will declutter, I will declutter............meaning less to clear away and more time to spend with my lovely family
  • When I have yucky baking dishes/trays I always soak in cold water over night with either washing liquid or a good bit of salt - works for me.
Now if only I could get my hob and saucepan bottoms clean.
    good luck
    xx
