I give out and receive email addresses hundreds of times a week.

Trust me, you do not want a double hyphen in a domain name, let alone a misspelling. It's ok for personal email addresses that you never say outloud but giving out a business email address for that domain will be a nightmare and result in loads of emails which never get to their destination.

I concur, avoid hyphenated names at all costs. It looks absolutely unprofessional, as well as making you much harder to find because chances are; people won't remember those hyphens.

I concur also - I was just trying to keep the name as close to the originators original domain name.

If local trade finder is still available that is pretty descriptive and to the point (and no hyphens)

If you really want to be successful try offering the owner of local.com £1.2million

Otherwise, its not really about domain names anymore, its about content.

So be imaginative and i wish you luck.
