Anyone familiar with Mill Hill area in North London

Don't know whether this is the correct forum... Just want to try.

We recently want to relocate to Mill Hill as some of the schools there are very good. Anyone on this forum is familiar with this area?

The main reason of this relocation is for my daughter. We want to send her to a good state school rather than paying for an independent one. We'd rather invest the money into a property as we got the impression that the houses around the good school in Mill Hill are about 500k plus...

Thank you for your reply. Much appreciated.

I am not familiar with the area at all. Where is the posh part then?

How is Mill Hill County School area? Is Mill Hill School independant then? I don't think I can afford it after buying a half million pounds house. :(

Mill Hill School is fee paying. Belmont is near and a fee paying prep school. Mill Hill County is a good state school(mixed). Queen Elizabeth's(Boys) is a good state grammar school. The area on the Ridgeway where the independent school is will be quite expensive.

Any one know how Ramillies Road is? From the street view, it looks a bit.. ... Not very attractive... However the schools around it are very good.
