I have been monitoring this thread for a few years. Just joined to post reply.
I paid £1800 in Jan 2014 for similar matter. Hoping my Credit Card Company (Barclaycard) would refund if there were any issues. Spoke to Barclaycard earlier this year and they said payment was not protected as it was paid through ClicknPay and not directly to Fastline Legal.
I have received Power of Attorney forms from Fastline but am unsure if to send them back or just cut my losses.0 -
Been contacted by Litigation Services who use the same office as Delta Litigation. On query of this I got some waffle about sister company! I was also contacted 2 or 3 year's back from another company with same Opus-mundi about my dealings with mri who have never had any successful results. All companies seem to have a great deal of knowledge but bottom line is they want money upfront. I have searched extensively for an independent lawyer here and in Spain to act, but it always comes back to the same answer. Apart from the fact that the property in question is in Portugal, I have no case as that scoundrel MacAnthony never got found guilty and there is no special pot or fund to pay compensation from. These companies keep asking for more and more money and at best lodge a complaint which is not a court case. There are no court records showing successful claims, or any that actually got lodged by these companies that lost. Anyone who hands over money will loose it as payment goes through klick and pay, which you can not use your credit card agreement to get back. The guarantees are not worth the paper they are written on. If any of those on here really got money back but want to remain anon ok, but I ask that you give your successful evidence to an independent international solicitor here so we can all find out how to get compensation. There are lots of other forums about these companies and its all the same, its a very clever con that the4y are masters at.0

When I enquired about protection on my CC I was told no as its paid to klick and pay. There are 2 other companies from same address popped up this last year also wants payment upfront that is through klick and pay. Bet they have amassed thousands from us vulnerable victims.0

Did anyone get their money back in the end?
I have seen so many people post that they have lost money buying property or timeshare but not many have either got a refund or updated the forum as to if they got paid back.
Would be interesting to know the outcome of some of these posts0 -
I've had promise after promise after promise from Fastline Legal Services and in particular Donna Smythe regarding a Corvera Golf reimbursment. So far i've seen absolutely no proof that anything is happening or that i'll get any form of compensation. What i have read are a lot of comments from disgruntled angry people that feel they have been ripped off by Fastline. I've also read a lot of disturbing reports (FSA etc.) that Fastline are just scamming people out of even more money. I have contacted Fastline over a dozen times and each and every time i have been given yet another excuse as to why the case hasn't gone to court. They range from the barrister was ill, to the courts being on an extended holiday to the courts being busy with one particular case for several months.
I'm hoping that they will come through but i don't see any evidence this will happen.
Be wary of cold callers.0 -
I've just been contacted by Litigation Services, but looks like they were Fastline. Any updates from people on getting money back? Great if you can still update and help others like myself.0
