"Affected human rights"? How?0 -
I'm not sure what you expect here....or how you think your human rights have been affected or your mental health infringed?
Most local authorities require items being collected to be at the property boundary unless there is reason why the customer cannot manage to do this - so elderly or disabled people can have items collected from the house instead but you have to tell them at the time of arranging a collection that you require that service.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
We have to pay in the region of £30 for a special uplift!0

How did the council break the contract or affect your human rights or infringe your mental health?

I think someone hasn't been taking their meds.0

It's just jibberish to me, what exactly is the problem? Please don't mention human rights, or mental health, none of that took place.0

I suspect you may be having difficulty composing what you want to say, but at the moment nobody can help you because we can't understand what your problem is.
It looks like you:
Paid for a microwave to be collected, which was done OK.
You've then paid for something else to be collected (presumably the sideboard and chairs).
They didn't come on the first day they should have.
You then rang the council and there was a disagreement about whether the collectors would come to the house or just the top of the drive.
They then came the next day and made the collection from the house.
Is that the correct sequence of events? If so, I'm not sure what issue you have, and what contract you think the council have broken.0 -
Not sure what to say really, human rights have defnitely not been affected and same for mental health being Infringed. So they came on the 29/01 and they came took two chairs and sideboard so had they missed anything0
