Any one used mediamax.com?

emeraldbugle

They have 25GB of free online storage. Anyone used them? Are they a safe way of storing data?

BeerBelly

The free one you can only download 1 GB a month (which is still good, but just so you know)

Files sizes can only be a max of 10 MiB as well. But for a free service I suppose you can't complain and I guess there's nothing to stop you setting up multiple accounts, I couldn't see anything in the T&Cs anyway.

carbonite is worth looking at. I think its good value, though its not free (there is a free trial)

I second carbonite, I actually use it. Unlimited storage for something like £30 per year. Just pick and choose what you want to back up and it runs in the background, updating online when your files are changed. I've noticed at least one magazine that was offering a three month trial of Carbonite.
