Electricity meter reading confusion!

So maybe Ovo will conclude that your starting reading should have been 56360, and bill from that. But that figure is less than your last two nPower readings ("customer" and "actual"). That doesn't even vaguely look like any of the other readings, although mis-reading a 6 as a 7 is easy on a dial meter.
Getting nPower to accept that they have over-billed you will be more of a challenge.

I have just spoken to NPower and they claim to have received the 4th December reading of 59646 from OVO. I have explained to them that I gave OVO a reading of 56360 at the time of the switch. I told them that I must have cocked up the August reading somehow. They've said that I should receive a new final bill and refund within 28 days. Fingers crossed!
