Tiny Plot.

Does anyone have advice on making the most of a tiny plot?
The garden itself isn't that small but much is flower garden or gravelled.
My plot is 6 feet by 8 feet and I am thinking of putting 2 raised beds on it - it flooded last year and only the courgettes survived! I did have one of those plastic greenhouses but it was damaged in a storm.
I have a little bit of space at the end of the garden but it is under a big tree. I managed to convince my parents that the gravel would look lovely with 3 fruit trees in it .... not allowed to dig it all up though!
I am not really sure what I want to grow - really fancy trying some of the Homegrown Revolution seeds - but need to grow some practical stuff too. The sparrows killed off most of my seedlings last year. I think I will be starting my seeds off on the windowsills but I need a proper plan as last year I just planted things randomly.
Maybe I have spent too much time watching The Good Life!

I have a smaller area to work with than you do, and last year I adopted the square foot gardening method and it seemed to work really well for me. I had one raised bed that was 2mx1m, and in that I had 24 runner bean plants, 48 leeks, 16 radishes, 8 pak choi, 2 cucumbers, 24 snowball turnips and 4 rocket, as well as a load of failed spring onions and 8 broad beans that didn't come to much. This year I plan to get another 4'x4' bed which will be 12" deep for onions and carrots, and to make a green roof on my rabbit shed for herbs.0

My veg patch is tiny too and I do square foot gardening too. Make sure you have good soil if you are cramming a lot in. Also think about growing vertically I grow peas and French bean type that are climbers on a frame so get quite a bit out of a small space. Also sow little and often so you don't waste any or they get too woody or go to seed.Save £12k in 25 No 49
