If you are thinking about LHA rates then you can claim whatever you are entitled to claim...if entitled you could choose to live in the cheapest 30% of 3 bedroom houses or use that same allowance and live in a better quality 2 bedroom property. You could even choose to live in large executive 1 bedroom flat....as long as the rent is below the 3 bedroom LHA rate then your rent will be paid in full.
This is incorrect. If the place is marketed as 2 beds she can only claim as 2 bedroom unless she can convince them that the box room is of measurements that are enough to be counted as a bedroom. I believe it is either 50-69sq feet or 70-89sq feet to count for a baby, not too sure.
The fact that with a 3rd child she may be able to claim for a 3 bedroom place is irrelevant. You can only claim the 3 bed amount if in a 3 bed place with a family able to claim for a 3 bed. If you live in 2 bed you can only claim for the 2 bed amount even if you have a family meaning you could get the 3 bed. If in a 1 bed place you can only claim the 1 bed amount even if you have a family meaning you can claim the 3 bed amount.
As she is working it is unlikely she will get full LHA for a 3 bed although it is possible.2 adults groceries: June £35.79/£200

My ex husband left me during pregnancy and my daughter is now 14 months old, ignore what anyone says that's negative it will only drain your strength..
I also have older children and when the baby came along they were over the moon, the dote on her..
These men that walk away are not men, they are scared little boys that want the world their own way, I had to tell my ex I was pregnant by txt, how bad is that, he then came back for a while and went again...
Make sure you don't take him back, recurrent leaving is an emotional abuse tactic as explained by the Freedom programme...
Keep going, save your energy good luckI always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0
