Ikea driving me round the bend!

We had a bed and a chest of drawers delivered a few weeks ago, one piece on the bed was too small, so we rang and asked for another to be sent, the lady said it would be posted to us, fine.

Then they rang back a couple of days later and said it would be delivered on a van, also fine, it didn't come. So we rang again, apologies and references to a busy store etc and booked another time, they didn't turn up again.

Repeat and now we are 6, yes SIX, no shows with the bit we need.

Every time we ring it's the same, apologies, we haven't been shouting and swearing at them, we've been annoyed, but calm.

I just don't know what to do any more. Ringing or emailing them obviously makes no difference to how they act.

The stores at least an hour away and it was all ordered online.

The CS people on the phone have all been great, but have all done the same things and spoken to the store (Milton Keynes) and made sure they picked it etc, said sorry, they'll talk about compensation after it's been delivered etc etc and so on.
We were passed on to another higher up person two failed deliveries ago, but that hasn't made any difference either.

My DD hasn't been able to play in her room for over 3 weeks, I've stayed in on 3 occasions during the week for it to be delivered and I'm self employed, so it has cost me money.

I just want this part, so I can get the bed finished, stop my DD sleeping on a mattress on the floor and give her, her space back!
