Kos for 29th May cheap flights seem impossible

We have a wedding to attend in Kos !
Seems to be very expensive to fly there.
Have tried Skyscanner, Ryanair, Easyjet, but they all seem to be in the region of £600-£700 return
That seems an awful lot, just for the flights, we can be flexible slightly on the dates, but a 5 day break is looking like it's gonna cost us a grand.
If it was just a getaway for the two of us, I'd leave it to the last minute, but it's Stepsons wedding, so we have to get there on time!

That date falls in what is traditionally the half-term break from school. Prices are likely to be inflated because of that.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Yes it's because it's half term. Not much you can do apart from ask the bride and groom to shift their wedding forward by a week! Unless perhaps you can fly out much earlier & have a longer holiday? Has he got kids or something otherwise I can't see why he would have chosen that time?0

Yep, two school age children....Not having kids, i didn't twig!
So which dates should i look for to get a cheaper flight, but still be at the wedding? Was a 40 a day smoker for 20 years.

London area, so Gatwick appears to be the only choice.
Going to contact admin at work tomorrow, to see if we can get a longer holiday.
Someone recommended Icelolly, and they do seem very cheap, which leaves me a bit concerned.
Haven't booked this kind of holidays in over ten years, we always go away in the motorhome.
There seems to be so many "extras" on a lot of the sites, so the price yeah see appears to jump by quite a bit.Was a 40 a day smoker for 20 years.

I've just searched on http://www.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/Kos/London/summer-2013/ and I clicked on 'Netflights' in the results list and the flight price seems to be £323 return each.
I searched for London to Kos from 27th May to 1st June. I obviously don't know which airport you would prefer to depart from. (sorry... was typing while you had put what airport you were departing from)DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024
