HA! Horrible typo. I'm clearly too tired. If there was a 5% available, I would have filled the max balance up long ago! I get excited at anything over 3.4% now.

Very few people would have this sort of money in cash savings for any length of time. Much better to put some in investments. Long before you get to £150K.

By investments, do you mean Stocks and Shares or property?

Have you seen my other thread I made about the £500 challenge? I am going to need to start thinking of better things to invest in once I get over £10k mark.

Preferably funds, which would include property funds as well as tracker funds.

he's only 20 or so and wants to retire earlier than state retirement age
