Aqua credit card

Hi , after being refused for lots of different cards i now have just received a aqua cashback credit card with a hideious 34 percent int rate , anyway i thouhght if i never ever use it for more than say 20 a month and always pay it traight off will it help build my credit score up as with those rates i no its a dodgy card to have if your not careful , are they a good company does anyone use aqua or have any problems with them ?....

I have an aqua card purely for the cashback, i repay straight away after using it, and have not had any problems with it so far.

good luck with building your credit score, my understanding is that the aqua card will help you

Thanks for info about aqua card i feel better now that ive heard youve had no problems i will also always repay in full each month

I've had mine for just under 12 months and have already hit the maximum £100 cashback

I had one missed payment which wiped out my cashback and incurred fee's but after a quick phone call they reinstated the offer and refunded the fee's (they could see I'd confused the payment date by one day despite paying in full every month beforehand so accepted it was a genuine mistake).

Top service from them as far as I am concerned.

can you not set up direct debits with them to repay in full each month? asking as my friend is about to apply for one in 5 mins and want a card for him thats easy to manage!

We can take automatic payments by Direct Debit. We’ll take a minimum payment, full balance, a percentage of your balance or a set amount each month, which ever you prefer. For more details call 0845 601 0436. If you choose to pay by Direct Debit, the money will be taken from your bank account approximately 17 days after the date the statement was issued.
