CEX & Ipads

I was thinking of cashing-in my iPad 1 64Gb at CEX as they are offering £130 for 'A' grade examples.

My question is -

Will they still be interested when they find-out that it has been upgraded to iOS 5.1 & therefore now displays 'not charging' (even though it is) when plugged into the mains ?.
This is a very common problem that seems to affect a large number of iPads.

why don't you phone them and ask them?

Keep that detail to yourself unless they ask / spot it.

My son tells me that they hook-up iPads etc. to a PC to check they actually sync with iTunes. As I can't find the original lead, I guess they will have to use theirs.

You are probably using the wrong charger. Only an iPad charger can charge whilst in use, if using USB or an iPhone charger then it charges when the screen is off, only switching to 'Not charging' when it is powered up.
