We (the drivers) can't help it if the students/hospitals opt to use us, or the ignorance-is-bliss owner of Delta advertises anywhere he can in the South. If there is work in Norris Green, and it's quiet in Bootle, I'm going straight to Norris Green.
IMO it all comes down to who runs the firms, and unfortunately for their drivers I don't see a lot of advertisement for the likes of Excel, Village etc out of the boundary, let alone within.
Can't comment on the insurance as I don't know what the Liverpool drivers' are paying, however for a settle car in Sefton it varies between £140.00 - £190.00 per-week, as I'm sure you are aware that will include Tax, repairs etc. I have my own car on the road, but due to my age I'm paying £205.00 a week just for insurance, and nothing else.
So yeah, I will gladly rank up anywhere I can to hit £298.00 before my own
Cheers.
I'm not saying you are wrong, I was just pointing out why your firm are not popular with the Liverpool firms as you said in your post. When all said and done you need to do what you need to do too earn a living.
Plus the Liverpool firms can do their fair share of cherry-picking!
It is a pity they cant put this rivalry to one said and fight the stupid issuing of this charges at JLA.0
