how to settle a much larger tradesman bill than expected

can anyone help? - my sister just feels she is constantly being ripped off.... She had some plumbing work done and at the time was verbally quoted around £200 - she works FT and as it's such a pain /difficult and time consuming to get tradesmen out to quote she went ahead with them thinking it sounded reasonable enough.…

Personally I would fight it all the way as the price is way over the top as the time it would take to refit would be a max of 2 hours so therefore you have been charged £300 per hour. Yes its her word against his but he has to prove he didnt quote that amount.
