It is a good idea to avoid getting tickets in the first place.Call me chicken, niave, plain stupid if you like, but when POPLA appeals has been in place a year I'll review the stats on CCJ's being won / lost. Either way I'm avoiding getting tickets as I have enough stuff in my life to be confrontational about without inviting hassle. My choice
Sometimes though, it is unavoidable, like the ANPR first in last out scam.0 -

The thing about popla is that according to the current stats only about 10k a year will go there, and the results of which are not binding on the motorists at all. The vast majority of unpaid invoices would be people ignoring the whole thing.
Also don't confuse ccjs won or lost as most of those 24 who lost in court in 2011 would have paid the judgement within 28 days, so no ccj would have been given. Providing of course that they were aware of going to court.
As for avoiding tickets that sometimes works, but as most tickets are issued unfairly it sometimes doesn't work like that, for example, not seeing signs, parking on a line, staying over an arbitrary time limit, or visiting a car park twice and camera only seeing first in last out and a myriad of other things. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Only the last of that list is outside the control of the driver. As for avoiding tickets that sometimes works, but as most tickets are issued unfairly it sometimes doesn't work like that, for example, not seeing signs, parking on a line, staying over an arbitrary time limit, or visiting a car park twice and camera only seeing first in last out and a myriad of other things.0 -

I disagree as how can they be in control of cameras picking up first in and last out ? Also if signs are not clear it means the invoice is unfair, most car parks have no parking companies infesting them so people are not likely to hunt in a car park for a solitary sign on entry.
And as parking on a line is not on the terms on the sign normally they get done for it, or the arbitrary time limit, if the signs are not seen they are not aware there is one, lets face it most of the conditions of use are there to trip up motorists deliberately, mostly the ones charged are the ones shopping, the ones who abuse car parks know that it's a scam.
And I know for a fact that some parking companies have a list of vehicles that they don't ticket , because they are serial abusers of car parks and they don't go after them as it costs money. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. Don't for one second think G24 are a ethical and honest company.
1. They never do court - if it was really about car park management then they would go to court.
2. They broke their contract with Nominet and then lied about their address.
3. BPA rules state that there should be at least a 40% discount for prompt payment. G24 charges are £95 reduced to £75 - hardly 40% !!!!!
No, G24 are lying cheating scammers who don't deserve a minute of your time appealing. All aboard the Gus Bus !0
