I have just received a message to my computer that I need to purchase a driver cleaner to erase tracks. What is this and where can I get one from online. Can you download them for free and how safe are they to download.

Yes, it's part of the advert. Do you have a firewall?
As for cleaning unwanted files, CrapCleaner is very good.

It doesn't know anything about your pc, well it could find your browser version O/S version and IP address but nothing else really.
You could have been using a 1 hour old PC and the advert would have said the same or similar.
I have popup blockers on my machines so never get troubled by the adverts.
