My little boy (nearly 2) has started playing up at mealtimes, particularly the evening meal. He refuses his dinner, he won't even try a mouthful. I would also recommend Carlos Gonzalez's book "My Child Won't Eat". It really helped me to stop worrying so much. It explains some of the reasons why children respond the way they do around food, although it doesn't contain advice on getting them to eat more as such. Even if your child is a good eater it's a good read and worth borrowing from the library or whatever.
