  • I would put money on MBNA not accepting as they never do. They will say if you can pay a bit more we can freeze intrest and charges. This is just one of there tatics, stick to your guns and insist its all you can afford and they will eventually accept and freeze intrest and charges.

    No! Oh that's scary. I'll force myself to do it, obviously (as burying my head in the sand is what got me into this mess in the first place).

    My payment is going up by £60 next month, so maybe the adjustment will be enough to keep MBNA happy. Payplan said not to worry too much, because if they pass it onto a debt management company they'll prob be easier to deal with anyway.

    Scary, scary times. Just want to fast-forward to 2 months in the future when it's all sorted and I know exactly what I'll be paying.
