in Credit cards
Hi all unfortunately my car was written off in a crash recently, luckily my dad has leant me a company car(perks of being the boss). I've got £980 from the insurance company & I'm searching for a car only problem is I have 2 young children & drive a lot so need to spend close to £2000 to get something safe fuel efficient & reliable, which means I need to put about £1000 on the credit card. So I already have £1580 on the card on 16.9%apr as soon as I've bought the car I'm switching to a 0%. But would I be better off paying the £980 in now & then pay full amount of car on the card?
Thanks:beer:

You usually have 60 days to make a balance transfer, so you can try applying for a new card first. If you get rejected, then you'll just have to pay it off.
If you get accepted, then you'll know whether you can buy the car with the new card, or whether you have to do a transfer first and then buy with the old card. (Depends on the credit limits you get.)0 -
remember most dealers will charge a 3% for the cc0
