It always used to horrify me when watching House Doctor, Property Ladder and the like, the 'developers' would get to the kitchen, and all of a sudden feel the need to attack the units with axes and sledgehammers - when some judicious use of a screwdriver would have made the job - a - less messy, and - b - yield some units which could be freecycled or donated to some charity or other.

I have just bought a new PC tower and was debating the best thing to do with the old one!
I think I will be going down the hammer and axe route with it!!:D:D

Anyone got any useful suggestions for getting rid of the mountain of back -up discs I have for my old PC? (They are not useable again I think which is a great pity):(

Just to say to Sorry to everyone who really thought I was about to actually smash up my old PC:o:eek::eek: I did not mean that I was going to do it literally!!!:eek: ( I'm not an Amazon!!!!)
When I have got some free time I will be taking it apart and then putting it on the freecycle site.
Not sure which are the most useful bits for people though.

    Thanks.:)

Sell the lot (without the hard-drives if you want to keep them).
Someone will take them off your hands, use what they want/need and junk the rest (or sell them on).
