Cancelling Oven Cover too late and now tied in for another 12months!

Hi All,
For the past year I've had oven repair/parts cover by Domestic & General. I've been paying this by DD. I had a renewal notice through and the renewal date was the 31st January 2013.
I wanted to cancel this but for one reason or another didn't get round to cancelling it and after calling them today they say that I'm now tied in for the next 12months.
Is there anything I can do to get out of the contract? I had hoped that it would now be a rolling contract and I could cancel the cover at anytime, but clearly not.
If there's nothing I can do I will obviously make sure I cancel the cover in plenty of time before the renewal date next year!!
Thanks for your help in advance.

what do the terms say ?0

Unlikely -- unless the contract terms include a cooling off period.0

I should imagine the T&C's are quite clear and state a period in which you can back out and after that you are liable to pay the cover for the next 12 months!Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0

I guess if you can't be bothered to get around to it and the terms you accepted require notice there isn't a lot you can do other than become more competent in the future.0 -
