in Credit cards
I have a strange one here.
I bought some bricks from a builder merchant and paid using my credit card, the delivery note has the correct items but it would appear that the delivery driver collected the wrong product, unfortunately this was not spotted by my builder who has since built my wall with these bricks.
Is the merchant liable for any compensation to rectify the error, all I have been offered so far is a refund on the pallet.
Would my credit card issuer be liable in any way?
Thanks

The builder is liable. Not the card company.0

I imagine that it is your responsiblity when receiving the order to double check the quantites and product and that this is stated on your delivery note. Can't expect any money back on goods which have now been used, as they are not faulty items.Hopeful optimistic.0

Given that each brick will have been less than £100. No S75.
Who picked up the wrong bricks?
You builder or the company supplying them?
There would be a potental chargeback, goods not as described. But that would mean returning the bricks to the merchant in a state they would be prepared to accecpt.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0
