Business USE or Private USE cheaper

I work from home as a Ltd co. My elec & gas is up for renewal & I noticed that I am on Business tariff.
Is it cheaper to have a business or private tariff ?? And have it billed to me personelly then claim some back on my own expenses.

Compared to Domestic tariffs which ase bad enough, Business Tariffs are an absolute minefield.

I believe that, (you will have to research this yourself on Ofgems website) if you are working from home with only 20% Elec/Gas used for commercial, you can still have a domestic tariff
Why not put your annual Kwh consumptions into a domestic Switcth site to see how prices compare with yopur present Bus. tariff

You don't have to be on a business tariff just because you run a business from home (assuming you are talking about an office-based business, and not manufacturing). Consumer contracts give you more flexibiity and much better consumer protection.
And it's not necessary to be on a business contract in order to claim a reasonable proportion of your utility bills against tax.

Remember with a busines tariff you will be paying 20% on some of which you can reclaim as you can't put 100% through your books plus the 5% Climate Change Levy, fixed term contracts, limited protected (12 month back bill rule does not apply) etc. Personally I would get off it unless your business requires very high elec useage e.g. a kiln.
