Yesterday I received a letter from Barclaycard to say that I cannot reclaim my bank charges and they included information/leaflet for the Ombudsman and told me to contact them.
I know first attempts can be met with rejection and I am all prepared to write another letter, but is it really worth it? I mean if I have to take it to the Ombudsman it seems so much hassle when I may not even win.
Has anyone else been met with rejection and gone on to win? Also has anyone had an dealings with Barclaycard and can offer some useful tips?
Thank you in advance.

What exactly was your complaint about? Fees of £12 are considered fair by the FOS. So, if it is those that you are on about then its unlikely to result in success.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
