Avoid Bulldog - False Economy!

I (foolishly) signed up for Bulldog over 2 years ago and have yet to get a fully working phone line and broadband service.
I've sent umpteen recorded delivery letters and openned dozens of email tickets - all have been shut as solved and so far, despite me paying over £1,200 over 2 years for little or no service, the best offer of goodwill is £60 credit!
Avoid these unprofessional sharks at all costs and email me for more info!
If anyone knows how to get more money out of them or how to change back to BT with minimum cost, please PM me!!!

Change to BT, just ring 0800800880 and take option 2. Thank you.

I agree 100% with this, although I have had a working line (most of the time) for the past 2 years, their billing department and customer service is a shambles! I am still with BD but don't fancy cancelling just yet as I've read numerous reports of how terrible that can be (no net/phone access, hijack of line so not able to get new supplier etc..) , I am however planning to move house in July so they'll be getting 1 months notice for the termination and will not be getting my fowarding address or any custom from me again, worst company ever! :mad:_________0 -
Hi Drunkstar,
I've heard nightmare stories of people loosing service for weeks and months when moving from BT to Bulldog... and each party blame the other (I know who my finger would point at though given the past 2 years!)
So... I want to get a 2nd line put in and then transfer the number once the net is working on the BT line. BT have quoted £100+ to install a 2nd line... is there any loophole you know of? I know it'd be cheaper in the long run given Bulldogs nightmasrish service but it's a big lump to find!

I have a meeting with Bulldog - face to face... on Friday if there is anything you'd like me to bring up for you?

No loophole I am afraid. And switching the number from 1 line to another will have as many problems (if not more) than just taking over the line.
And belive me, some companies are a pain for returning phone numbers. LLU lines are the worst (or were anyway). Recent actions from Ofcom have made that easier to deal with mind. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 20
