tribunal in a weeks time scored 0-35 for mental health

hi Ive got my tribunal in a weeks time an tbh its causing me a lot of distress, I suffer with my mental health and Im under the care of my local mental health place..

I suffer from extreme anxiety, depression and OCD..all have a massive impact in my daily routine..what would take someone an hour takes me 3 hours due to lack of concentration and constant checking etc

can anyone advise me as I felt the original questions were totally aimed at physically disabled people an bared no concern for those with mental issues..ie Ive never claimed I cant raise my arm above my head

thanks in advance

These are the descriptors that the point scoring is based on :

  • I'm on ESA for the same things. Only advice i can give is take any letters you have from doctors or mental health teams with you and pass them onto the tribunal.
  • My OH attended an assessment for mental health issues in relation to NI contributions (I earn too much for him to get ESA). He scored 0 points as the only questions they asked him were physical ones, not mental ones. I wrote a letter, which included a complete list of the mental descriptors and put in the points he would have scored if he had been asked questions relating to MENTAL health, not physical health. They reversed the decision immediately and he got his NI contributions.
