This is my first time meal planning. Bit nervous and worried its a little bland but I'm hoping it will be ok. Mine starts tomorrow.

Breakfasts are scrambled eggs and toast, fry up, toast with Philly and bacon sandwich

Lunches are pitta breads with salad and cheese, jacket potato with tuna, mayo and salad, jacket potato with beans and cheese

    Dinners;
Sunday - roast chicken, cauliflower cheese, roasties, peas, sweet corn, Yorkshire pudding and gravy
Monday - left over chicken in korma with rice and naan bread
    Tuesday - spaghetti bolognese
Wednesday - corned beef hash and beans
Thursday - sweet and sour chicken with pasta
Friday - gammon, potatoes, peas, sweet corn and parsley sauce

Pudding will just be fruit and yoghurt. Snacks are fruit, crackers and cheese and some quavers for the toddler.

I've only done it for 5 days and some things will be repeated. I've managed at least 7 portions of fruit and veg per day so think I'm doing well :)

Only problem is my oh isn't a fan on planning but he'll have to eat what I give him or do his own!

Wednesday - Gammon and chips (egg and beans for those that want them)

Hope everyone has a good week :)

Well DD1s virus has hit the rest of us. I went down with it on friday but had to drag myself into work. If Id phoned in sick it would have been assumed I was pulling a fast one having already having 3 1/2 days off with daughter - just hope I havent infected anyone else:o

Mon - Roast chicken dinner with veggies & yorkies

Tue - cottage pie, carrots & peas

Thur - pasta cheese & hm garlic bread

Sun - slow cooked pork in cider, pots & veg

This will all depend on how I feel and days maybe swapped around.

Gammon joint was thrown in slow cooker this morning after mr T delivery so sandwich fillings for week along with cheese or egg.

Morning all. Hope you feel better soon CCP

Last weeks meal plan went well. When I last sorted out the freezer I put up a whiteboard next to it in the garage and listed the contents of it on there. I update board every time I put some thin in or out of it. This has made meal planning much quicker and easier.

Sat - Rice pot with scallops, chicken and prawns
Sun - Roast pork with stuffing and veg
Mon - french onion soup with cheesy toast
Tue - Sweet and sour pork with stir fried veg and noodles
Wed - Salmon in parsley sauce with veg
Thur - HM chicken nuggets with herby wedged and peas
Fri - Grilled belly pork with mash and veg

Lunches will be either salads sandwiches or soup with fruit

Breakfasts will be cereal or porridge.

White board in the garage ! Brill idea -will do that -chest frezer is brill but there is always some fish baragin that falls to the bottom.
