Sign of vestibular disease again?

Hi, my dog suffered a vestibular attack about 4 months ago. He was alot better within a week but took a full month to lose the head tilt completely. He's been fine since but i've noticed over the last couple of days that every time he shakes his head he seems to go a little unsteady and the head tilt is back (same side). this only lasts for about 10 seconds and then he's back to normal. Could this be a sign that he's going to have another bad attack of it? He's 14 years old in a few weeks.
Thanks

No need to answer this question. I took him to the vets and his ear is abit inflamed so we've got ear drops for him.0
