Need help with some maleware/virus.
I'm trying to get rid of websearch good results. I've went through my register manually and removed as many of the offending references that I could find.
I've ran Superantispyware, Registry First Aid, Microsoft Security Essentials, and Malewarebytes, but I can't seem to get completely rid of the problem.
How is it affecting me? If I open a new tab (Firefox only not IE) it automatically takes me to the websearch-good-results page, however, the correct homepage opens when I start Firefox, or when I press the Home icon.
Can you suggest how to get rid of this? Is it a matter of uninstalling and re-installing Firefox?

Download AdwCleaner and run.0

Think I have the problem solved.
I disabled all the extensions and plugins in Firefox and then re-enabled them with the exception of Java (TM)Platform SE 7 U11 10.11.2.21 which I think Firefox had disabled automatically.
Typed about:home and Mozilla Firefox Start Page appears. I assume that is as it should be.
Firefox now seems to be working properly.0
