Help convince my husband

Hello we are off to camberley soon for a few nights my dear Nephew passes out the army,
Any way i'll get on with it i would really love to see Les Mis at the theatre currentley running at The Shafstberry? (I think) is it to far to travel from camberley into London By Train? is it easier by car or would it be best to try and get a cheap hotel in London i say cheap because we are in the process of buying our first house so money is tight but as we live in Devon we don't get the shows like Les Mis or Phantom and he knows i really would love to see it so if i could price it up and plan it all hopefully he won't say NO:D

THANK YOU

Camberley to London is an hour and a quarter by train, with the last one back being at 2330. A cheap day return is £11.90, or £14.20 including buses/underground (worth it even for only one underground trip)
