SYSTEM RESTORE DISC-HELP please

Hi all, I was setting up my new PC when I was distracted by a phone call.....I missed out making a sytem restore disc and downloaded the windows updates before I realised!!:o

What is the best thing to do, please?

(a disc came with the tower but before I have usually made one as well)

Thanks:beer:

windows update doesn't prevent you making one, but you already have one?

I am not completely sure it is one!

Two discs came with the tower:

It says 'Microsoft External Recovery Media 1 of 1' on one of the discs that came with the base/tower and

'Intel H61 Chipset Support DVD' onthe other one.

    Are these 'system restore' discs??:o:o

looks like it, why can't you create one anyway if you're worried?

you could also backup with macrium reflect free, and create a macrium boot disc, then you can restore it to the state it is now at any point in future.

see the how to speed up sticky above, there is a video and links to the software embedded in it which explains how to backup with disk imaging.
