in Credit cards
i am thinking of transferring my credit card balance to a 0% offer but have to pay for some flights later in the year , my question is " am i best paying for the flights first before i transfer any balance "

If you can purchase your flight ticket before then yes it would be best to do that before transferring the overall balance. You have also to bear in mind that you might not get the limit you need or be accepted at all....1

If you do that your flights will be circa 3% more expensive.
As to what you should do, it will depend on a) which card you go for, and b) how long you need to pay for these flights (along with how long you need to clear the entire balance [of flights plus existing balance]).1
